Registrations under the Finnish top-level domain .fi are mostly open to organisations and individuals from Finland. Organisations from foreign countries can only register .fi domains, if they own a trademark which is valid in Finland. But even in this case they still need an administrative contact based in Finland.
EPAG provides a trustee service for owners of Finnish trademarks who do not have a branch in Finland. Via this trustee service EPAG can provide the necessary local administrative contact.
EPAG is accredited as a registrar at the responsible registry for .fi domains and is therefore allowed to have direct access to the .fi registration system.

- Organisations from Finland which want to register a .fi domain have to provide their Business Identification Number (xxxxxxx-x) or their Registration Number (xxx.xxx).
- Individuals from Finland who want to register a .fi domain have to provide their Personal Identification Number.
- When making use of our trustee service from foreign organisations, the VAT ID as well as the exact trademark wording, registration number and the responsible trademark register of the trademark which is valid in Finland is required.
